Uruguay vs France @17:00hrs
Brazil vs Belgium @ 21:00hrs (Kazan arena)
The first week of this month started on a weekend but then offered a public holiday on Monday and later another holiday on Wednesday.
Friday is another interesting offer to football fans around the world as Uruguay and France meet for a thriller game of the World Cup Quarter Finals and later in the evening, Brazil will meet Belgium at Kazan arena in Russia.
Belgium’s players and assistant manager Thierry Henry looked in great spirits as they took a pre-match stroll through the streets of Kazan this morning.
As for Belgium’s Red Devils coach Roberto Martinez will likely start with his 3-4-2-1 system (or 3-4-3) with the two star substitutes starting the game.
Possible line-up for Belgium: Thibaut Courtois; Jan Vertonghen, Vincent Kompany, Toby Alderweireld; Axel Witsel, Kevin De Bruyne, Nacer Chadli, Thomas Meunier; Marouane Fellaini, Eden Hazard; Romelu Lukaku.
It should also be noted that Belgium’s bench has made a huge difference so far at Russia 2018.
The Red Devils’ substitutes had the last word against England. Against Panama, Belgium’s changes brought balance. Against Tunisia, Michy Batshuayi scored his first World Cup goal. And against Japan Marouane Fellaini and Nacer Chadli scored after making a tremendous difference on the pitch.
Peeping into the Brazilian camp, their last training session before the match in Kazan was hit by rain but all 23 players are ready for action.
This is the first time in Russia that the coach has a full squad available. Casemiro, however, won’t play today, after picking up a suspension.
“In the last third of the pitch, we are very strong individually and very skillful. That’s what I tell them all the time: the coach works to get them well organised off the ball and in the build-up. But when we get to the last third it’s time for them to use their creativity,” said Brazilian coach.
