University of Kigali Sends More 1500 Graduates Into Job Market

University of Kigali has awarded bachelor’s and master’s degrees and diplomas to 1500 students after their successful completion of courses in various academic disciplines.

These graduates join the already existing pool of unemployed graduates in the competitive job market.

Students who did not meet the deadlines for today’s graduation ceremony, shall proceed with their programs and graduate during the July 2019 Graduation.

“Those graduating today are lucky, you are the cream of Rwanda and you are the hope of Rwanda today and indeed tomorrow. Many of you will become leaders in politics, commerce and in the community and I am confident that all of you will make  very worthwhile contributions to your families, Rwanda and the world,” Professor Mannaseh Nshuti, the Chairman Board of Founders, told the graduates.

According to Chancellor Dr. David Macrae; “Whatever your chosen path, our wish is that you put your degrees to good use towards the betterment of your own lives and families as well as that of society large, as members of a graduate elite, have a duty of care and responsibility.”
