Rwanda’s Louise Mushikiwabo has won double endorsement for her bid for La Francophonie Secretary General during the 31st African Union summit in Mauritania.
This endorsement considered as very rare especially winning all the support from African Heads of State and all Foreign Affairs Ministers gives Mushikiwabo support of a large part of African states.
During the AU summit in Nouakchott, Mauritania, the heads of state unanimously endorsed Mushikiwabo’s candidature for the La Francophonie.
An impressive Mushikiwabo used this moment of the summit to comb through the corridors to greet her peers and discuss her program.
Foreign Ministers seemingly united on a single candidate said Mushikiwabo should be the only candidate on the continent.
