A delegation from Rwanda’s Air Force is currently in Italy to scale up cooperation between the Air Force services of both countries.
Maj. Gen. Charles Karamba the Rwanda Air Force Chief of Staff is leading the delegation on an official visit which began on Monday and will conclude on Saturday June, 23rd.
While in Italy, the Rwandan delegation was received by Lt Gen Enzo Vecciarelli, the Italian Air Force Chief of Staff at Italian Air Force Headquarters in Rome where they exchanged progress of the two defence forces cooperation.
The Rwandan delegation is composed of Enrico Lalia Morra the Honorary Consul of Rwanda to Italy and two RDF Pilots, Lt Col Jean Kamana and Maj Jackson Kalisa.
They will visit the Italian aviation company named Leonardo, one of the key players in global Aerospace, Defence and Security and the Italian pilot training Centre at Italian Air Force Base at Venegono.
Last year in July, Italy’s Lt Gen Enzo Vecciarelli visited Rwanda.
