Soccer club AC Milan have held talks over an ambitious move for Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata.
Morata, 25 has just missed out on a World Cup place after being omitted from Spain’s squad and has endured a frustrating debut season in the Premier League under Antonio Conte.
He was overlooked in the latter stages of the season and saw Olivier Giroud start the FA Cup final.
Juventus have an interest in taking him back should Chelsea be willing to sell, however, AC Milan have also made tentative moves to check on his availability and the figures Chelsea would want.
AC Milan is also facing a similar summer of flux with several players expected to leave including Wolves target Andre Silva, Nikola Kalinic and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
