Students from University of Rwanda, Westminster Business School appeared before a panel of Judges and pitched various projects that can transform Rwandan society. They will wait for their fate.
“It’s an opportunity for them to receive feedback and refine their concepts for the final submission in June 2018. Good luck to all of them,” said one of the organisers.
This is all in line with the social enterprise to which the Development Bank of Rwanda has rendered support.
The social social enterprise retreat which has been running in Kigali is using arts and design techniques to develop young innovators from the UK and Rwanda where the message is draw on participants passion to carry them through.
During the retreat, participants participated in syndicated seminars, networking events and the retreat culminated with students delivering presentations on their pitched ideas to judges.
Meanwhile, BRD bank
is contributing in awarding best project and sponsor students to attend Westminster student boot camp.
This partnership between Rwandan and UK students crafted in July 2017, aims at enabling students from both universities to develop a range of social enterprise projects seeking to transform Rwandan society.
