Kagere, Cyiza, Lomami Granted Rwandan Citizenship

On Monday, Rwanda’s Directorate of Immigration and Emigration officially granted citizenship to three soccer stars including Kagere Meddie, Cyiza Hussein and Lomami Marcel.

The new citizens will take oath of allegiance at Kigali City Council after their swearing in Ceremony.

They will begin enjoying the country bordered by Uganda to the north, Tanzania to the east, Burundi to the south and the Democratic Republic of Congo to the west.

Marcel Lomami is the Rayon Sports club physical trainer.

Meddie Kagere (born 10 October 1986) is a Ugandan-born Rwandan footballer who plays for Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League and the Rwanda national team as a forward.
