Thirty seven officers of the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) officers and two officers from Rwanda National Police have successfully completed a Junior Command and Staff Course (JCSC/10) at RDF Command and Staff College, in Musanze District.
Maj. Gen. J Bosco Kazura, the Commandant of the RDF Command and Staff College (RDFCSC), on Wednesday congratulated the graduates for having demonstrated resilience and commitment during the four-month training.
“You will require to work hard and achieve more to continue to be saluted in your future and enduring career” the Commandant told the graduates
He also noted that “What you have learnt here will help you in particular, the RDF and our country in general, to earn a recognition whenever you will go for missions abroad and/or senior courses.”
The Chief Instructor of the College, Col Chrisostome Ngendahimana said the graduates had received thorough in different modules including; force organization, military intelligence, tactics, logistics, land and air operations, peace support operations, routine and operation service writing, communication skills among others.
Maj Ephrem Ngoga emerged as overall best student while Maj Francis Gatare won the best Commandant’s Paper; an academic final research work.
Since its establishment, the college has graduated 363 students of the Junior Command and Staff level.
The ceremony was also attended by Senior Officers, graduates’ spouses and families as well as local authorities of Northern Province.
