10-man Police Whips Marines FC

Ten-man Police Football Club maintained its unbeaten run on Wednesday when they registered a 1-0 narrow win over Marines on Day Ten of Rwanda Premier League played at Kigali stadium.

Justin Mico was sent off deep in the second period after he was shown a second yellow card.

Striker Dominique Ndayishimiye scored the lonely goal in the 20th minute through a syndicate between him, Justin Mico and Dominique Savio Nshuti, which was enough to create the difference.

Police was on five occasions denied by the bar and Marines keeper looked focused between the poles to make several other saves to deny the law enforcers from seeing the net yet again.

The law enforcers, who are yet to lose a match this season having won seven and three draws, played without striker Osée Iyabivuze, who is on suspension and keeper Gahungu Habarurema, who was injured during their match with Enticelles on Day Nine.

The win pulled Police back to equal 24 points with table leaders APR, who lead with a two-goal difference.
