Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid is in Rwanda for a two-days official visit.
At the International Airport at Kanombe, Mrs. Kersti Kaljulaid was received by Chief of the Defense Staff, Gen. Patrick Nyamvumba, Rwanda Development Board CEO, Clare Akamanzi and Inspector General of Police Emmanuel Gasana, and ministers among others.
She landed at the International Kanombe Airport from Ethiopia where she had talks with Ethiopian authorities and officials at the African Union including Albert M. Muchanga, the commissioner for trade and industry at the AU.
It is said that her visit to Africa seeks to improve the relationship between the African Union with the European Union.
Aged 48, Mrs. Kersti Kaljulaid was the first female and youngest to be voted president of Estonia. She was elected on October 10, 2016. She chairs the European Union from July up to December this year.
Formally colonized by the URSS, Estonia is famous for for its robust e-commerce and e-health advancement.
