Rwandan Journalist Battling Cancer Needs Immediate Help

Jadot Sezirahiga, a veteran Rwandan journalist, has been battling a throat cancer for over one year. He has to incur Rwf6,000 per day as medical bills, but since he does not work, he can no longer afford to clear the hospital bills.

He urgently needs the help of all the journalists and well wishers for him to continue to get medical care and attention.

Sezirahiga is indeed in deep pain, but still hopes to recover.

The Rwanda Journalists Association (ARJ) has launched a fundraising campaign by which well-wishers and fellow journalists can help him by donating any amount of money through ARJ.

Contributions can be sent to MTN Mobile Money account +250787446999 in the names of Rwanda Journalists Association.

He is currently admitted at St John Paul 11 Centre for Palliative Care in Kabuga, Kigali where he expects to undergo surgery soon.
