Comedians thrilling revellers is now becoming familiar especially to those who can’t afford to miss organised comedy shows in town.
After successfully delivering in previous shows, Comedy Knight is preparing a three day comedy festival which will attract renowned local and international comedians to relieve Kigalians from stress with laughter.
The festival is scheduled to begin this Thursday 02 with the first two shows taking place at One Love and last show on Friday, at Radisson Blu Hotel.
The first show will feature local comedians; Arthur Nkusi, Babu Joe, Clapton, Joshua, George and Divin from Burundi, who will be delivering in Kinyarwanda.
According to organisers, this will be followed by another day of comedy in French by Rwanda’s Herve Kimenyi and Sengazi Michael, alongside Oumar Manet from Guinee and Ronsia Kukielukila from DR. Congo.
On Friday evening, the last show will bring on stage Emmanuel Kisiangani, Dr Ofweneke and Mammito Kenya, while Uganda will be represented by Cotilda and Daniel Omara. The festival will also have James Manzello from USA and Saku Yanagawa from Japan.
Organisers have arranged to give out a hundred entry tickets at only Rwf 4,000 to the first people to make it to the first and second show.
Meanwhile, the first two shows entry tickets are sold at Rwf 5,000 where for the final show, tickets will be sold at Rwf 10,000 via food.jumia.rw and Rwf 15,000 at the entrance.
