Gunman Shoots 50 People In Las Vegas Attack

At least 50 people are reported to have died and another 200 injured, at the las Vegas mass shooting.
US Police say that, a gunman, identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire from the 2nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel towards an open-air music festival.
He was later shot dead by officers in the hotel where a number of guns were found. He has not been linked to any group.
Police reveal that they have also identified a woman, named Marilou Danley, who is suspected to have been with the gunman before the attack.
The country music festival had been taking place since Friday at several hotels on the Las Vegas strip.
Survivors at the scene of shooting said that hundred of shots were fired, in what sounded as a protracted automatic gunfire.
BBC reports that many hotels on the Las Vegas strip close to the scene remained on police lockdown and parts of Las Vegas Boulevard were shut.
The country music festival had been taking place since Friday at several hotels on the Las Vegas strip.
The Vegas comes fourteen months after a deadly shooting spree in Florida set a record for gun violence in the U.S, and is is likely to resume debate on gun laws in US.
US media reports that this is the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
